Lightweight rower has heavyweight determination  Brock University rowing coach Peter Somerwil didn’t see a future Olympian when he first set eyes on St. Catharines native Eric Woelfl. “I knew what he was like in high school and he was a decent lightweight rower,” Somerwil said. “But he was a very tall, gangly sort of guy and you wouldn’t look at him as a prototypical Olympian.”  Read more...
